SFIC Institute and Häfele Singapore Partner for Joint Certification of Carpentry-Related Training
The Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) Institute has announced a new partnership with Häfele Singapore, a leading provider of furniture fittings and architectural hardware solutions, to offer a joint certification program for carpentry-related training.
The partnership aims to professionalize the carpentry trade within Singapore by providing excellent training and bringing valuable skills and knowledge needed to more carpenters. Through this partnership, SFIC Institute and Häfele Singapore will collaborate to create a comprehensive training program that will equip carpenters with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their craft.
The joint certification program will cover a range of carpentry-related topics, including furniture design, woodworking techniques, furniture finishing, and furniture installation. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a joint certification from SFIC Institute and Häfele Singapore, providing them with a valuable credential to advance their careers in the carpentry trade.

The joint certification program will commence in March 2024 and will be open to all aspiring and practicing carpenters in Singapore.
